Abstract:
This report examines changes in the holdings of Alaska's Limited Entry Permits in communities that are local to the Bristol
Bay and Chignik fishing areas. Particular attention is paid to Bristol Bay salmon drift gill net and set gill net permits and
Chignik salmon purse seine permits. Only data associated with permanent permits are included. The report covers the
1975 through 1994 time period. For each fishing area, data are provided for each local community and summary data are
provided over all local communities.
